A fire department media release said the fire, which started in the back yard of the home, was reported around 5 a.m. Responding crews saw flames at the back of the structure and noticed the home next door had also caught fire. Firefighters worked to attack it from outside, then entered both burning structures to search for anyone inside.Article content
The fire was brought under control at 5:44 a.m. A fire investigator and police arson investigator took control of the scene.The fire is now under investigation by police.
