Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the immersive hotel experience at Disney World, doesn't open until 2021, but you'll be able to make your reservations later this year. Watch a video from Disney with more info.
. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the previously announced hotel coming to Disney World, is still on track for a 2021 opening. Don’t expect a typical hotel, though: it’ll operate more like a cruise reservation, where you book a two-day and two-night experience that aims to thoroughly immerse you in the world of Star Wars. And although the opening date hasn’t been announced, Disney did reveal today that reservations for the Starcruiser will be opening in 2020.
Disney also released a new video today that goes into more detail about what you can expect aboard the Galactic Starcruiser. None of it is new information, but Ann Morrow Johnson, an executive producer with Walt Disney Imagineering, does explain it in a clear and easy to understand way.
