House Republicans are proposing a number of bills that focus on rules around household appliances on April 15, following regulation from President Joe Biden's administration.During his administration, Biden has passed a number of laws to prioritize reducing the effects of climate change—including the Inflation Reduction Act, which designates $369 billion toward the country's green-energy transition.
The text of the bill said, 'To prohibit the Secretary of Energy from prescribing or enforcing energy conservation standards for refrigerators, refrigerator-freezers, and freezers that are not cost-effective or technologically feasible, and for other purposes.
