Danny Green is reportedly returning to the 76ers on a two-year, $20-million contract.
The second year in the agreement — which was first reported by Harrison Sanford who co-hosts the podcastPer Sanford, the three-time NBA champion recently turned down another two-year offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers and had discussions with the Brooklyn Nets, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors and others.
Green fired a career-high 6.3 three-pointers last season, hitting them at a 40.5 per cent clip and averaged 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 69 games with the 76ers. Green won back-to-back titles as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors , after spending the first eight seasons of his career with the San Antonio Spurs, with whom he won a championship in 2014.
