Luis Severino reportedly won’t be ready to pitch for the Yankees until at least May.
Luis Severino will not be ready to pitch inSeverino, who started on Opening Day for the Yankees last year, was initially estimated to be out just two weeks after missing his two straight starts in spring training with rotator-cuff inflammation.
According to Hoch, Severino will start playing catch next week, but will still be sidelined on March 28. Luis Severino will resume playing catch next week. Said he understands why he won’t be pitching in big league games until May. “I just want to be healthy and help my team.”
