The nuggets are reportedly closing their training facility for several days after some members of the club’s travelling party to Orlando tested positive for COVID-19.
Additionally, the Brooklyn Nets re-opened their facility Tuesday after two players, Spencer Dinwiddie and DeAndre Jordan, revealed they had tested positive, Wojnarowski reports.
The Nets practice facility re-opened today after being closed for several days, sources said. Nets had recent positive coronavirus tests with DeAndre Jordan and Spencer Dinwiddie.The Nuggets are one of 22 teams scheduled to resume the season at Walt Disney World in Orlando at the end of July. Phase 2 of the NBA’s return to play plan began on June 23 with players reporting for mandatory testing in their home cities .
On June 26, the NBA announced 302 players were tested in the initial Phase 2 group and 16 tested positive. NBA teams are expected to travel to Orlando by July 11 and quarantine there. Teams will then take part in a training camp on the Disney campus before games resume July 30.
