“I haven’t been playing, so I would like to go somewhere where my talents are appreciated,” said the SacramentoKings' Dewayne Dedmon.

With his playing time dwindling, the 30-year-old centre told“I haven’t been playing, so I would like to go somewhere where my talents are appreciated,” he said Sunday.

The Kings are listening to offers and teams are interested in acquiring the seven-foot, 245-pound centre, reports Jason Anderson ofDedmon was Sacramento’s biggest free-agent acquisition, but has struggled to find his game with the Kings. He is shooting 41.9 per cent from the field and 22.9 from three, down from the 49.2 and 38.2, respectively, in 2018-19 with the Atlanta Hawks.

“I’m not the only person struggling with my shot, so if that’s a factor then it’s kind of crazy,” Dedmon told. “If you’re not allowed to shoot through your slumps, I don’t know how you’re supposed to make shots.” He is averaging 4.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 0.5 blocks in 13.6 minutes across 23 games. Dedmon started the first four games of the season, but was relegated to the bench and has only appeared in two games since Dec. 6.More from Sportsnet
