.nyjets linebacker C.J. Mosley has reportedly decided to opt-out of the 2020 season due to family health concerns.
The 28-year-old played in only two games for the Jets last season while dealing with a groin injury. The four-time Pro Bowler and four-time All-Pro selection recorded nine tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery.
Mosley signed a five-year, $85 million contract in free agency with New York after starting his career with the Baltimore Ravens. In 79 career games, the former first-round pick out of Alabama has 391 solo tackles, 8.5 sacks, 10 interceptions, six forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries and three defensive touchdowns.
