Former Jack Adams winner Paul MacLean will reportedly be named the new head coach of the QMJHL's Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.

The Screaming Eagles fell in five games to the Rimouski Oceanic in the second round of the post-season.

MacLean captured the 2013 NHL coach of the year award after guiding the Ottawa Senators to a 25-17-6 record in a lockout shortened 2012-13 season. The Sens would go on to lose in the second round of the playoffs. He was fired 27 games into the following season and then served two years as an assistant with the Anaheim Ducks.
