. Miami has been doing work on Rosen for weeks when it became clear he’d be available, but AZ won’t give him away.According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals and Miami Dolphins have been discussing a potential Rosen trade.
"Nothing imminent, but they've been talking, sources tell me and [Tom Pelissero]. Miami has been doing work on Rosen for weeks when it became he'd be available." Rapoport tweeted. According to Robert Klemko of Sports Illustrated, Cardinals general manager Steve Keim didn't start taking calls on Rosen until minutes before the draft. As a result, no team came forward with the first-rounder Arizona was seeking, per Klemko.
The situation is a far cry from just one year ago when the Cards traded up to select the UCLA pivot at No. 10. But Rosen struggled in his rookie season, compiling a 3-10 record when starting. He threw 11 touchdowns with 14 interceptions and 2,278 yards passing.
