The Houston Roughnecks' first full XFL season is over.
The last time a professional football playoff was played on the University of Houston campus, the Dallas Texans upended the Houston Oilers in overtime for the 1962 AFL Championship.
Houston finished the regular season atop the South standings and carried a three-game winning streak into the playoffs. But a successful first full XFL season is over. Arlington covered 75 yards in 10 plays on its opening drive, with De'Veon Smith rushing for 10 and 24 yards on consecutive plays to help set up a 14-yard touchdown pass from Luis Perez.
