It’s been seven years since he was last on the show, but if you cast your minds back to 2017 then you might remember former
Josh rose to fame on the Channel 4 show alongside his mum Nikki, dad Jonathan and sister Amy when they joined the cast in 2013 and we basically watched him grow up on screen before he quit the show to move into politics. After working as an apprentice at No.10 alongside then-Prime Minister Theresa May, Josh has now branched out on his own and is running to be an MP.Earlier this week, Josh took to X to reveal that he’d been selected as Labour’s parliamentary candidate for Hartsmere.
Josh's politics career started when he bagged an apprenticeship at the Cabinet Office. At the time, a source said, "Channel 4 will, of course, keep the door open for him but it’s a really exciting opportunity for him."Josh's parents, Jonathan and Nikki, and his sister Amy continued to appear on the show after he left, although they too quit the show not long after.
