“The winter weather didn’t make the rooftop shine enough to close a sale,” says Mr. Blachette. “We had few groups interested but today’s market is slow with a good amount of property choice for buyers, and few sales at the same time. We are in a buyer’s market, so you must be patient to sell and price it right and be available to show any time.”
The seller purchased the unit when the building was just completed, making a 50 per cent equity increase, he says. They sold because their family was growing.“This central location is growing very fast with lots of upcoming multifamily residential and commercial projects and the new St Paul’s Hospital few blocks away,” said Mr. Blachette.
