The Redblacks are turning to Devlin 'Duck' Hodges as their starting quarterback against the Argonauts.
Hodges takes over for Caleb Evans, who started the last six games with Matt Nichols and Dominique Davis sidelined with injuries.
The Redblacks signed Hodges to a three-year contract after the 25-year-old played in eight NFL games, six as the starter, with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hodges has dressed in Ottawa's last two games and was brought in against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats where he completed 8-of-16 pass attempts for 49 yards and one interception.
During his time in the NFL, the Samford University product went 3-3, completing 62.5 per cent for 1,063 yards with five touchdowns and eight interceptions. He earned the Walter Payton Award in 2018 after setting an NCAA Football Championship Subdivision record for passing yards in a career completing percent of his passes for 14,584 yards with 111 touchdowns and 41 interceptions., and avoid posting profanity, personal attacks or harassment.
