The Redblacks will be without QB Tyrie Adams, who has a torn ACL, for the rest of the season and fullback Marco Dubois talks about his first regular\u002Dseason CFL touchdown.
“He had a choice of surgery or to wear a brace; we’re going to go in the direction of surgery so he can come back next season in full health,” said Redblacks head coach Bob Dyce.
Asked what he was thinking when he caught the ball, Dubois said: “I had been telling myself, ‘We need to score.’ I was just thinking, I have to go as fast as I can, get into the end zone and give the team a spark.” “I’ll tell you something, it’s not like I’ve been waiting for that chance,” said Dubois. “I always work hard. is a special moment. But I contribute on special teams and I’m just as proud to make big blocks on a punt return as I am scoring a touchdown.
“He’s truly one of the leaders on this team, on special teams and offensively,” said Dyce. “He’s one of the guys who is in here first thing in the morning and leaves late.”
