Man accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl said he was 'training' her for when she was older, affidavit says

A San Antonio man justified sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl by telling her that he was"training" her for sex when she was older, court documents said. David Anthony Thomas, 42, was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child on Saturday. Thomas' bail was set at $100,000, court records show.
In late March, the victim's mother found sexually explicit messages on the teen's phone from Thomas, an affidavit supporting the man's arrest said.When questioned, the victim said Thomas was"training her so she will know what she likes sexually when she gets older," the affidavit said. She also said Thomas had sexually assaulted her several times, according to the affidavit.
She also told authorities Thomas used his cellphone to take explicit photos of her, the court documents said.
