Stocks have been diving as lockdowns to stop the spread of the coronavirus shut businesses. That's also shot demand for oil into the gutter: A key U.S. indicator fell below -$30 per barrel Monday. Closing the loop, the Dow is down hundreds of points today.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell more than 600 points Tuesday, a drop of 2.6%, after tumbling 592 points, or 2.4%, a day earlier. The Dow is down 22% from its record high in February.
