🚨 RECALL ALERT! 🚨 Packages of raw ground beef sold in nine states have been recalled because they may be contaminated with plastic.
There are no confirmed reports of anyone getting sick, but at least two customers have complained about finding clear, thin plastic inside their meat.
Health officials are worried some of the beef may still be in customers’ freezers. Anyone who bought packages of the following is urged to throw it away or return it to where they bought it: 1-pound vacuum-packed packages containing “Pre 95% Lean/5% Fat Ground Beef” with lot code “0060,” case code “11402” and a use/freeze-by date of “01/31/2020” on the product label.WebMD Health News Brief
