There have been more than 400 reports of the spouts coming off, with dozens of reports of the spouts being found in a child’sThe recall involves Contigo Kids Cleanable bottles and the replacement lids issued after the August recall, which involved the same problem. The current recall involves only lids where the base and cover of the clear silicone spout are black. “Contigo” is printed on the rim of the bottom and on the front near the bottom. The recall includes 13-ounce, 14-ounce and 20-ounce models in four colors schemes: solid color, graphics, stainless steel, and stainless steel solid colors.
If you have one of the affected bottles, you should stop using it and take it away from children. Contact Contigo for a free replacementThe bottles were sold at Costco, Walmart, Target, and other stores nationwide and online from April 2018 through Feb. 7, 2020, for between $9 and $24.
