Fresh produce will meet urban convenience at the Brentwood Farmers Market starting this Sunday.
Burnaby is getting a new farmers market right beside one of its busiest SkyTrain stations starting this Sunday.
“Now we are just a step away off the Brentwood SkyTrain station, so we are one of the most accessible farmers markets in terms of public transportation,” she told the Burnaby NOW. “Our other two markets are primarily seniors, and this location, being that it’s so new, has a lot of younger clientele and younger families,” she said and added the market will also be easily accessible for those living in the nearby residential areas.
Soon Coffee, which has a shopfront in Brentwood mall’s “Tables” food court, is on the list of Brentwood market vendors, and Small Victory plans to sell its bread at the market later in June. She said the goal for the Amazing Brentwood is to create a vibrant gathering space for residents and guests alike.
