In the last year, millions of households have seen their gas and electricity bills skyrocket with many people struggling to heat their homes.
As bills continue to rise and the weather is getting colder outside, lots of people could be turning to log burners to keep themselves warm. But, it's important to know what it costs to heat homes.
The Stove Industry Association estimates that a wood burning stove uses about five logs to produce 4kW of heat over a five-hour period, compared to an open fire which uses 16, reports The Sun. But it's worth remembering that a log burner won't heat your entire home.
