Rather than agreeing to their terms, he’s launched a public and legal battle against the College saying they are going too far.that the College’s actions violate Peterson’s Charter right to freedom of expression, his public battle takes a different stance. On Dec. 31, 2021, Peterson retweeted American conservative commentator Ben Shapiro, who had posted several statements regarding COVID-19 and government restrictions. Peterson added his own comments, calling for an end to lockdowns, an end to mask mandates and allowing people to get on with their lives. Enough already. Time to stop. Stop the masks.
