The manhunt for two men sought by police after stabbing rampage on and near James Smith Cree Nation extended into a second day Monday.

7:12 a.m.:

Flags at the Legislative Building and other provincial government buildings were lowered and will remain at half-mast one day for each life lost, the province said.The SHA put out a call for additional staff to “respond to the influx of casualties,” spokesperson Anne Lindemann said in an emailed statement.

“We continue to be significantly overcapacity in medicine at St. Paul’s and RUH. The problem really is emergency. There is no where for the patients to go,”Reaction to the tragedy
