AVONDALE, N.L. — A sudden death in Avondale on Sunday is not believed to be suspicious in nature, according to the RCMP. Police said members from the Holyrood detachment responded to a call at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, regarding a sudden death in the community of Avondale. “An elderly man, who had been burning brush in a wooded area of his private property, was located deceased,” RCMP said in an email.It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
