Loss of confidence in Saint Mary's leadership | SaltWireThe RCMP have released more details about a series of wild events that include a home invasion in Annapolis County earlier this week and the arrest at gunpoint of two suspects at a Kings County motel.
Inside, they found a man and woman, both 44 who lived there, but there was no assault happening. Instead, they learned that the woman they had talked to outside and two men had forced their way into the home earlier that night and assaulted the occupants. The stolen SUV was later found abandoned in Greenwood with a rifle inside. At the scene of the home invasion, police found a truck that the three accused were allegedly travelling in before they forced their way into the house. It had been reported stolen earlier in the day in East Hants. A shotgun was inside.One of the suspects tried to flee but was taken down by a police dog, then treated in hospital and released.
