The video was recorded and shared to Twitter yesterday morning, with viewers able to watch one rat boldly scurrying through Annette Street in Govanhill. It looks as though the rat is drawn to rubbish on the street, which it is taking as it's next meal.
The twitter user who posted the video told Glasgow Live: "This was my first time that I’ve seen a rat in the street but I have seen videos and people saying they have seen them in broad daylight.They added: "This is a regular occurrence In Govanhill. You tend to see them more often in the back gardens of Gurturk Street as the bins get over-filled and this causes the infestation.
