PETALING JAYA: A rejuvenated Toh Ee Wei will finally make her return after spending almost three months out of the national team.
The 18-year-old shuttler partnered Pearly Tan to finish runners-up at last year’s World Junior Championships and much was expected from the pair.Now that she is back on her feet, she is ready to reunite with her teammates.
“I have been given a clean bill of health and I should have no problems getting back on court,” said Ee Wei.After their silver-medal performance at the world meet in Canada, Ee Wei and Pearly were drafted into the senior team at the Academy Badminton of Malaysia in December.Ee Wei was overjoyed when she received a letter from the Badminton Association of Malaysia to rejoin the squad.“I have to thank BAM for accepting me and for their never-ending support.
