The Raptors are waiving power forward Sam Dekker ahead of his contract guarantee date, BlakeMurphyODC reports.
Murphy adds that the Raptors are close to exceeding the tax line and are likely to run with 14 players on the roster until the situation with Goran Dragic is resolved. Dragic, acquired from the Heat in the Kyle Lowry trade, has sat the entirety of Toronto's last six games due to coach's decision.
Dekker, who signed with Raptors on a partially-guaranteed deal in August, played only 54 seconds for Toronto this season in a game versus the Indiana Pacers. The 27-year-old spent the past two years with Russia's PBC Lokomotiv Kuban and Turkey's Türk Telekom.
