The Raptors will be looking for a fifth straight win on home court when they host the celtics on Christmas Day as 3.5-point underdogs.

Toronto returns home after suffering a 120-115 defeat in Indiana against the Pacers on Monday, which marked the team’s first straight-up loss in six games going into Wednesday afternoon’s matchup at Scotiabank Arena.

The Raptors suffered a letdown in their loss to the Pacers as 5.5-point underdogs after showing character while overcoming a 30-point deficit in a 110-107 victory over the Dallas Mavericks as narrow 1.5-point chalk on Sunday. That win over Dallas marked the Raptors’ biggest comeback victory in franchise history, and also the biggest comeback win in the NBA in a decade.

In addition to their recent steady play on the hardwood, the Raptors have also been paying dividends at, posting against the spread wins in five of their past six outings after failing to cover in their previous five contests. The Raptors’ recent performance is even more impressive considering the team’s injury woes. While the recent return of Fred VanVleet has certainly been welcomed, the club remains without Pascal Siakam, Marc Gaso andl Norman Powell, who all remain sidelined indefinitely with injury. The Raptors and Celtics tip off a full Christmas Day schedule on Sportsnet, Sportsnet ONE and SN NOW with coverage starting at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT, followed by 76ers vs. Bucks, Lakers vs.
