Raptors will be without Kawhi Leonard Sunday against Heat.

Toronto has stuck with their season-long plan to give their star off-season acquisition as much rest as possible in the hopes of keeping him fresh and healthy for the playoffs. According to Sportsnet’s Michael Grange, this will be the third straight Sunday game Leonard will not play. He’s on pace to play 60 of 82 games this season.

This is the 3rd straight Sunday game Kawhi has sat after playing the Friday night, all of them 'early' starts.Twice he played less than 30 minutes on the Friday — 27 last night. Leonard hasn't played three consecutive games since early February and is on pace to play 60/82.
