X-rays came back negative for Raptors rookie sensation Scottie Barnes who jammed his thumb in Saturday's win over the Indiana Pacers.
The team said that X-rays came back negative and they will continue to monitor the injury. The Raptors' next game comes against the New York Knicks on Monday at Madison Square Garden.
Barnes had a team-high 21 points and 12 rebounds while playing 35 minutes, which was third behind Fred VanVleet and OG Anunoby. He helped the team close out a close game by scoring 11 points in the fourth quarter. Seven games into his NBA career, the 20-year-old is averaging 18.1 points, 8.9 rebounds and two assists per game.
