He was rated the 18th-best prospect in the international signing class by. Though he’s hit only four homers in 363 pro at-bats, the power potential is starting to show this spring, especially in the Rangers’ sports science lab. He played all three outfield positions last year and has shown consistent improvement in fielding, an area the club was unsure about when he signed.This would be a great year to see the power really blossom. Morrobel was gangly when he signed, but thanks to steady weight gains the last two offseasons, he’s closing in on 200 pounds.
