Nacua has not played since LA's Week 1 loss in Australia to the 49ers.
Puka Nacua will be back for the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4 as the team faces the Philadelphia Eagles, head coach Sean McVay announced on Friday.
McVay said Nacua "looked sharp" during Thursday's practice and that the team will likely have him on a snap count. The wide receiver has missed the last two games while dealing with a hip/groin issue. He returned to practice on Wednesday, and while he was listed as a limited participant on Thursday, Nacua said it was a full day of work for him.
"It's exciting," Nacua said. "That's my safe space out there, and to be out there with the guys, I think that's been the most important thing, feeling that camaraderie and then also the ability to put my foot in the ground. "Nacua has not played since the Rams' Week 1 defeat to the San Francisco 49ers in Australia where he caught five passes for 74 yards. " in his recovery.
That sounded alarm bells, but he added the injury is not a long-term concern and the team was just being cautious. The expectation was for the NFL's receptions leader last season to come back for the Eagles game.
