"You're not always going to win and you're going to lose sometimes," Avila said."Sometimes they're good losses, which means the quarterback wasn't sacked, but you still lost the rep. I've learned to not be so hard on myself, especially going against Aaron Donald everyday." An argument could be made that the best way to improve is by going head-to-head with the best-of-the-best during practice. Avila has had that opportunity with Donald, who has won three Defensive Player of the Year awards and has certified himself as an NFL legend."Going against Aaron Donald in the first couple days of pads, I was like 'I don't know what to do, this dude is crazy,'" Avila said.
