The Nictaux resident said a friend recently mentioned concerned residents were organizing a group to help find a solution to the situation in Annapolis County. A meeting was held on Jan. 13 and from that session the rally was planned and a Facebook group created. The emergency department has gone through closures during the past year due to staff shortages in the region.
