With programs like Brew City, Texas and the Texas Brewery Passport app, the Texas Craft Brewers Guild is working to promote the craft beer scene and boost the economy.
The Brew City, Texas Program was launched in 2024 by the guild to help Texas become a leader in craft beer-driven economic revitalization and tourism. In Texas , craft breweries are estimated to contribute $4.5 billion to the state’s economy each year. Brew City aims to connect cities of all sizes behind the common goal of showcasing Texas as a premier craft beer destination.
As you visit breweries, your passport will be virtually stamped to earn you badges and rewards. In the Passport section of the App, tap “Stamp My Passport” to get a stamp whenever you visit a brewery and GPS will manage the rest. Upon receiving your first passport stamp, you have two years to redeem your rewards and climb the leaderboard. After two years, your stamps will expire and you will need to start over.
