Rainy Wind in the Willows Polar Plunge celebrates the start of 2022The 29th Annual Polar Bear Club Plunge drew several dozen swimmers and spectators to Wind in the Willows’ pond near Grantville, Pa. at noon on January 1, 2022.ddslebanon.orgThere was no fee to participate but those taking the plunge collect pledges from family, friends and co-workers.
The pre-plunge party featured DJ Derek, a hot chocolate food truck and Polar Plunge sweatshirts for sale. Leading the charge for this year’s campaign are sponsors First Citizens Community Bank, Diehm & Sons, Fulton Financial Advisors, Kountry Kraft Kitchens, Blue Flame Welding, Tuscarora Wayne Insurance, Balsbaugh Insurance Agency, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Keller Brothers Ford, Seltzer’s Smokehouse Meats, SW Fuhrman VFW #23 of Lebanon, Navy Club Ship #91, VFW Post #6076 of Myerstown, VFW Post 6417 of Palmyra and American Legion Post 880, Richland.
