While no records were set for rainfall totals in March, it was wetter than normal in Metro Vancouver, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Environment and Climate Change Canada posted a special weather statement Friday, warning of a possible rainstorm beginning Sunday in parts of the region.
Rain is expected to develop across the region early Sunday morning and intensify at night, with the Sunshine Coast and Lower Fraser Valley bearing the brunt of the storm. Gregg Walters, a meteorologist with Environment and Climate Change Canada, said while no rain records were broken in March, it was wetter than usual in Metro Vancouver.
