You better trade in your umbrellas for some sun screen because the heat is not backing off as we get to the first full week of September!
TUCSON, Ariz. — We got up to 97 degrees today in Tucson and this afternoon we were seeing a lot of those upper nineties in the Tucson metro area and even across Southern Arizona. So the exciting part- we escaped the triple digits, but not for long!
We're also seeing some pretty consistent upper sixties for some of the Tucson metro area for our lows tomorrow. Cochise county weather Of course some parts of Cochise County are usually lower and we were seeing that in places like Sierra Vista where it was 71 degrees around 3 in the afternoon today. However, we were still seeing a lot of those upper eighties and nineties in the county.
