Based on the 1957 Broadway musical that positioned the Puerto Rican Sharks against rival white gang the Jets, Spielberg's 'West Side Story' stars Rachel Zegler and Ansel Elgort as Maria and Tony.
The short video, which features Zegler singing a few notes from “Tonight,” is a whirlwind of color and costuming, throwing in sneak peeks of some of the original's most iconic moments: The dance hall where Tony and Maria first meet; the rumble between the Sharks and Jets; and the dress shop where Maria sings “I Feel Pretty.” We also get out first glimpse of Rita Moreno, who played Anita in the 1961 film adaptation.This content is imported from YouTube.
