We’re NASA experts on the VIPER mission. Ask us anything about the water-seeking Moon rover or its landing site on the Moon!NASA has selected the region just outside the western rim of Nobile Crater at the Moon’s South Pole as the landing site for its Volatiles Investigating Polar Exploration Rover, or VIPER, mission. The mobile robot will land on the Moon in 2023, where it will explore and map the surface and subsurface for ice and other resources.
We'll be answering questions on Tuesday, September 21 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. PDT and will sign our answers.
