Quinte West U-13 Soccer team wins in Ancaster
The Quinte West Under 13 Wolverines have won their first soccer tournament. They defeated Waterloo 4-1 in Ancaster over the weekend. John Korver scored twice in the final game. Gage Madore and Coen Lowry also scored.
The second match of the day the Wolverines faced Waterloo. The Wolverines fell short 2–1 in the final minutes. Midfielder Coen Lowry scored the only point of the match.off playing against Guelph. The Wolverines knew entering the third match that they needed to win which would create a three way tie. And the Wolverines didn’t disappoint with their team goal of “never giving up!”
Quinte West goal keeper Jayden Polan remained solid between the post coming out with his first shutout of the season!
