Star defenceman suffered an undisclosed injury during Friday game against Dallas

Quinn Hughes is set to miss a second straight game when his Vancouver Canucks host the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday.

“He’s not going to play tonight,” Tocchet said after morning skate. “He wants to gut everything out, but it’s the right move.”“I’ve seen with guys things linger, I’ve seen some guys after 24 hours, and things help,” he said. “So we’ll see how it goes.”Hughes also missed Vancouver’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday. Derek Forbort took his spot on the top defensive pair alongside Filip Hronek.
