The Queen has marked Prince Philip's 100th birthday by planting a commemorative rose in the garden at Windsor
In a touching tribute, the Queen was gifted a rose named after him by the Royal Horticultural Society which she helped plant in the garden at Windsor Castle last week.
Photos of the occasion have just been released to mark his birthday.STEVE PARSONSWindsor Castle garden is a fitting spot for the rose. The pair spent their final year isolating at Windsor together during lockdown. Philip is also buried in the vault at St George's chapel there.WPA Pool
