— Vsevolod Komarov's power-play goal at 9:32 of the third period snapped a 1-1 tie and lifted the Drummondville Voltigeurs to a 2-1 victory over the visiting Victoriaville Tigres in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League playoff action on Friday.
Sam Oliver also scored for the Voltigeurs, who wereoutshot 37-36 in the opening game of the semifinal series. Tommy Cormier scored for the Tigres, who went 0-for-2 on the power play. The Voltigeurs were 1-for-2.Game 2 in the best-of-seven series is Saturday at Centre Marcel Dionne.BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Justin Gill scored three goals, Justin Poirier added three assists, and the Baie-Comeau Drakkar defeated the visiting Cape Breton Eagles 5-3 to grab a 2-0 lead in the best-of-seven QMJHL semifinal series.
