VAL-D'OR, Que. — Florent Houle scored the game-winning goal late in the third period and the Sherbrooke Phoenix climbed their way back from a two-goal deficit to beat the Val-d'Or Foreurs 7-5 in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Friday.
VAL-D'OR, Que. — Florent Houle scored the game-winning goal late in the third period and the Sherbrooke Phoenix climbed their way back from a two-goal deficit to beat the Val-d'Or Foreurs 7-5 in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Friday.
The Phoenix fell behind 5-3 midway through the final frame before rallying and scoring four straight to clinch their third straight win. Houle and Etienne Giroux each had a goal and two assists for Sherbrooke, while Felix Ouellett and Mavrick Lachance registered one of each. Hugo Primeau, Thomas Rousseau and Lewis Gendron rounded out the scoring for the Phoenix.
Captain Nathan Brisson led the Foreurs with a goal and two helpers, while Nathan Baril scored and contributed an assist.
