SYDNEY, N.S. — Luke Patterson scored the overtime winner for the Cape Breton Eagles in a 6-5 win over the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies on Wednesday in the Quebec Maritime Junior Hockey League.Lucas Romeo scored twice and Jacob Newcombe, Dylan Andrews and Cole Burbidge each had a goal for Cape Breton, while Eagles goalie Jakub Milota made 39 saves for the win.
Huskies starter Kyle Hagen repelled 14 of 19 shots before he was replaced in the third period by Samuel Meloche, who had 10 saves.SHERBROOKE, Que. — Drummondville goaltender Riley Mercer stopped 36 of 39 shots for the Volts in a win over host Sherbrooke.
