has hosted various shows on the local radio station since 2014, starting with the morning show and then eventually making his way to the Afternoon Drive.“I love the people here. I love volunteering in the community. I love meeting new people, and chatting with neighbours and friends in Walmart until they kick us out at closing time," he said in an interview.

“I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, but radio always spoke to me,” Theriault said. “I remember I was so eager to get the experience and throw myself into the nitty gritty that I would sometimes skip classes to use the studios and work and work, trying to make whatever I was doing sound as good as possible.”

Theriault explained that Pictou County always felt like home to him. It was important to be close to his family, and says he feels “privileged” to be able to work here. “I had great mentors, people like Ann McGregor, Rod Mackey, Don MacKenzie, Michael Petter, and Mike Freeman. They taught me the importance of community and the importance of supporting the people in the community.”

“It’s hard for anyone to deal with negativity. I’m no exception to that," he said. “I have anxiety beyond belief, but I think you just have to be comfortable with who you are, and everything will be fine." Theriault says being silly and cheesy like that makes him happy and laugh, and he hopes that it makes at least a few people that listen to him do the same.
