As the state begins reviewing eligibility for thousands of people, here’s how Alaskans can make sure they’re ready for whatever happens next.

That means that each month over the next year, somewhere between 10,000 and 30,000 Alaskans currently enrolled in the program will have their Medicaid eligibility redetermined by the state. State health officials have said that there’s no way to know for sure when exactly someone’s application will be reviewed, or whether they’re eligible for automatic renewal.
