A BAFFLING chart shows that the European Union has increased its reliance on Russian gas since 2014 when it annexed Crimea, as tensions loom in Ukraine.
Marcel Dirsus, a political expert, expressed his shock at a chart that revealed the annexation of Crimea did little to hinder the EU from purchasing Russian gas."Instead of trying to reduce their dependence on the Kremlin, Europeans decided to buy more gas from Russia after it invaded Ukraine."
